Freshfields Animal Rescue Open Day

Freshfield's 14th Annual Open Day - features stalls from local charities and other groups,held to raise funds for the animal rescue centre. This event is also part of the Freshfields Summer Festival, including a Motown Disco on Friday (3rd) and a Quiz Night on Saturday. Viva! will be having a stall manned by local supporters and vegan refreshments will be on sale during the Open Day. Friday 10th Jul - 12th Jul, 6pm-6pm

Compassionate Living Fayre Summer '09

Even bigger than last year, this fayre will include entertainment for children -face painting, hair wraps, glittery craft making & games. Free talks, short films and lots of lovely free vegan goodies, competitions and prizes! New for '09 - a Workshops Room, where you can get your hands dirty and learn new skills. 15th anniversary fundraising dinner with Heather Mills and Viva! patrons

To celebrate our 15th anniversary, Viva! will be holding a special celebration dinner in association with vegan caterers and party planners Harem Nights.
The evening will start at 6pm and go on until 1am and guests will enjoy a Middle Eastern feast with wine, authentic Bedouin Café, a belly dancer with drum accompaniment and cosy chill-out area. There will also be a presentation at the start of the evening by Viva! founder and director Juliet Gellatley and Viva! Patron Heather Mills and, after dinner, celebrity speakers to include Michael Mansfield QC, Wendy Turner Webster, Gary Webster and Sarah Jane Honeywell, auction, raffle and to end the evening a disco. Tickets for the dinner are priced at £85 and include all food and drink, which will of course all be vegan!
